Methi Millets Paratha

Preparation time : 10 minutes
Resting time : 15 minutes
Cooking time : 2 minutes for each paratha

Ingredients

2 cups chopped Methi Leaves
2 green chilles chopped
1.5 cups curd
3 cups wheat flour
1 cup millet flour
1 tbsp garam masala powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsps cumin seeds / jeera
Salt to taste

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, add wheat flour, millet flour, garam masala, turmeric, salt and jeera. 
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients well.
  3. Add the chopped methi leaves and green chilles to this flour mixture and mix well.
  4. Beat the curd and pour it into the mixing bowl.
  5. Knead to a soft chapathi dough.
  6. Divide the dough into equal roundels.
  7. Roll each portion of the dough into rotis. Use rice flour or wheat flour while rolling the rotis.
  8. Heat a pan and roast the parathas by smearing oil on both sides.
Tasty methi millets parathas are ready to serve with curd and a pickle of your choice.
